Intime Extime est présentée à la Slow Galerie
du 24 novembre au 5 décembre 2015.
Le dessin d’Edith Carron est crayonné, d’un coup de crayon fort et appuyé de façon à y voir se déposer des marques colorées. Ses traits conservent une sensation de vitesse et de force. Les lignes mangent sur le cadre, débordent la page, comme prêts à s’élancer ailleurs pour faire naître d’autres espaces. A la surface du papier, les marques reconfigurent des souvenirs intimes.
«Intime Extime» présente une série de dessins originaux produits par l’artiste à la manière d’un journal. Y seront exposés œuvres uniques et estampes, mais aussi de grands carrés de soie imprimés en édition limitée.
Bio, ÉDITH CARRON
Edith Carron a étudié l’illustration à Paris à l’école Estienne, aux Arts décoratif de Strasbourg et à Berlin. Elle vit depuis huit ans à Berlin où elle travaille en tant qu’illustratrice free lance. Son trait vif et coloré se retrouve dans les pages du New Yorker, Süddeutche Zeitung magazin, Télérama, Revue Citrus, Revue XXI et le magazine M le Monde.
